SPF (Institut für Solartechnik)

The Institute of Solar Technology SPF was founded in 1981 and is part of the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences (OST) in Rapperswil on Lake Zurich. Currently, 40 employees operate a broad-based research laboratory for renewable energies and an internationally accredited testing laboratory. The SPF is a driving force in the research and development of innovative components, systems, and processes. Our focus is on energy efficiency and renewable energies in general as well as solar heat and photovoltaics in particular. We work as a motivated team with a high level of competence and full commitment to innovative projects in the field of solar heat and photovoltaics. In this way, we support the industry in product development and quality testing.
