Monasterium Laboratory offer Preclinical Services in skin and hair follicle research and development. Our philosophy is to operate as much as possible with intact human hair follicles and skin to better predict the clinical response in vivo. These predictions can then be directly probed in our Clinical Hair Trials Unit. Monasterium Laboratory also develop custom-designed research assays in skin/hair physiology and pathology for consumer product, pharmaceutical and academic partners. We also run translational research programmes with emphasis on developing innovative pre-clinical research models and identifying novel targets for therapeutic intervention.
