Digital Society is a nonprofit NGO. Founded 2015 - Digital Society has the aim is to make the digital world a better place. Our motto is “changing the digital world together …”. Our members are Individuals, other Institutions and Corporations. Our geographical focus is Austria as well as the European Union. Digital Society is working in the areas of Privacy, Data Protection, Copyright and Government Transparency. Our goal is to strengthen the rights of European consumers as well as the position of the digital economy. From our perspective those two things have to go hand in hand and are not contradictions. Only if the consumers and corporations alike have a high confidence in cloud services the technology will be able to advance in the right direction.
